Hello, I’m Vladimir Mandujano Martínez, a Mexican graphic artist based on Bratislava. I have a bachelor’s degree in graphic design and I’ve been working in the field of digital design, web design and front end development for 14 years. I was born in 1982 in Mexico City, and I’ve been painting pretty much all my life. I have no bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, or formal art studies besides two diplomas at San Carlos National Academy, a branch from the Mexican National University, which is specialized in fine arts. I took part in four collective exhibitions during my youth at the ‘Sala Nezahualcoyotl UNAM’ in 1999, at ‘Museo universitario del Chopo’ in 2004, at ‘Universidad Iberoamericana’ both in 2004.
I have special interest in symbols, the power they have on us, they are a tool of expression, they are the axis of our emotional strength.
I’ve experimented with several media as stop motion, photo, sculpture and even wrote short stories, but most of my work is based on painting.
Nevertheless, I have no specific media, it is the subject what brings toguether my work, focused on an introspective excercise.
