This work is very important in what I call “my concept’s journey”. The main image came to me in 2009, and very accurately I called it since then “Initiation” as a way to symbolize the beginning of my concept, when I realize my true interests and essence. Probably during those days at my wife’s village, in what seemed to me a period of peace, reflection and isolation, that environment surrounded by beatiful forests in the very heart of Slovakia, felt like a voice calling me into the magic and spirituality.
Later on the work was finalized through experimenting with photoshop and the result was great, I thought even in some versions but somehow the colors and textures were working perfect to match the feeling of ominous, occult rites, almost like a nightmare, but of course I didn’t inspire in any special dream, it was somehow conscious.
